For one brief instant it finally looked like Titus Young had finally figured it all out. He took to twitter and wrote an amazingly nice apology to all the Detroit sports fans. Of course shortly after posting said heartfelt apology he deleted it and virtually every other tweet he had ever sent. In one brief instant you almost felt bad for a guy that let his ego destroy his god given abilities and talent, but then of course one moment later we all realized, hey, we are dealing with Titus freaking Young.
I apologize to the Detroit fans, Thank you, for the 2 years of Love and joy
Best guess is someone got into Titus’ ear and told him what a fool he was making of himself on twitter, and that another delusional statement wasn’t going to help his cause any. The simple fact here is Titus doesn’t have a job right now because he put himself above the team, and you just can’t do that, ever! Detroit is a blue collar town, and Detroit sports fans like their sports stars a lot more humble than Young is capable of…
Of course Titus may be realizing the mistake he made by forcing his way off the Lions’ roster. Imagine an offense that has Calvin Johnson, Titus Young, and Nate Burleson at the wideout positions and Reggie Bush along with Mikel Leshoure in the backfield. Scary is the word that comes to mind, but alas it shall never be.
We here at Detroitsport360.com would like to thank Titus for two years of entertainment and fun headlines, but love and joy, yeah Titus we don’t think so. But you stay classy brother.
